It was a very windy day. The joy was all the greater when we arrived at Ferropolis. Admission costs €8, but it's worth it, especially if you take a guided tour.
There's a wonderful private petting zoo/animal park near Gröbern. Admission is free and it's very well-designed, especially for children.
