About sdicksoncycling

I'm Steve Dickson and I volunteer with Sustrans at my local Active Travel Hub in Ayr.

My volunteering includes, among other things, ride leading on electric and non-electric bikes, teaching bike maintenance, leading walks, participating in Dr. Bike maintenance pop-ups, teaching local school kids and adults bike maintenance and riding skills.

I have gained an official qualification in bike mechanics with Velotech and qualifications like ride and walk leading and first aid all which are standing me in good stead. I also have started using a cycle turbo trainer and have been training to increase my overall fitness & my cycling power.
