You'll find numerous scenic spots with stunning views for breaks and plenty of photo opportunities, with the chance of encountering only a shepherd with a flock of sheep. The trail passes through Instinjo, Melandra, and Zacharia—Turkish-Cypriot villages left abandoned after the 1974 conflict, later reclaimed by local farmers for livestock use. There are several points of interest. Check out the church and cave of Agios Charalambos just beyond Istinjo, a mosque and an Orthodox church side by side in Melandra, and for those looking for a spa experience, a fish tank in Zacharia. The trail involves some route finding and navigating through fields in the second part of the tour.
