@Stephan Fritz : I ride my bike to Sankt Märgen every now and then. It's a great destination and I recommend the descent from there through the Wagensteigtal because it's easy to walk! Have you tried climbing up the old Spirzensteig (largely car-free, not the busy road), via Schweighöfe to just below
