Thoroughly enjoyed this route, despite the weather being overcast with some drizzle. Lovely scenery through Cefn Mably, which passes the old hospital, with good views over Cardiff and out to sea. Some hills, but the return leg through St Brides is a long, flat run. Looking forward to repeating this in the spring.

Parked at Risca & Pontyminster railway station. Long hard slog uphill to the top of Ty Sign estate and a bit more climbing beyond that, but the views from Twmbarlwm and Cwmcarn Scenic Drive are worth it. Fantastic MTB/Gravel ride with lots of variety in terms of track type and landscape.

Caught the train to Hereford and followed a stunning scenic route to Abergavenny. Couldn't have done this without SATNAV, thank you Kamoot! From there, followed the Monmouthshire Canal Path to Malpas, this second leg was mostly flat or downhill. I decided in the end to Cycle home to Cardiff, making
Literally followed the Kamoot tour. Nice circular walk with lots of variety (paths, trails, woods, meadows, climbs etc). Spectacular views from the Garth.
