Really easy and pleasant walk from Hamworthy station to Upton Tea Rooms via a Lidl store!

This is a disappointing walk; there is a 0.5 km stretch along a very busy, fast road with no footpath. Other paths around the edge of fields are overgrown and tricky to navigate. The route should be scrutinised carefully before undertaking it and some work arounds will be required.

The walk takes you over the River Lodden and through attractive woodland past Maiden Erleigh lake then through the extensive grounds of Reading University passing Whiteknights Lake finishing at the Kennet & Avon canal.
