This hike is a very small section of the Potomac Heritage Trail spanning over PA, MD, DC and VA.

In this section mentioned here coming from Fort Marcy you have to cross Pimmit Run, there is no bridge. Be awareof the water level. When walking down along Pimmit Run, it is easier to cross sooner than later.
