GiG is a gravel bike community that gathers one Thursday a month to socialize while riding local gravel paths in Brescia, Italy. It was born from the collaboration between fellow riders: Negot.cc, Osteria Croce Bianca, Gialdini Brescia, and B3L.
The format is as follows: once a month, on a Thursday, a meeting point where the ride starts is communicated via Instagram, along with two different tracks: Easy and Hardcore. You can choose your route, pace, and company. The finish line is always at Osteria Croce Bianca Brescia, where all riders meet at the end of every ride to enjoy a panino and drink a beer (or two). It’s not a competitive ride, but if you want to race the riders you encounter along the way, you’re free to propose a sprint for the first pint.
