Very atmospheric with the mist - wonderful sights. The ‘Elevation Profile’ shows the walk downhill all the way - was it ‘train up, walk down’?

That’s more like it! Wonderfully varied hike with lovely looking locations/destinations. Great photos too. I can imagine that the cafe was a very welcome stop.

Did this route today, in stages, up and down over the island. Ideal conditions, light cool wind, plenty of shade, water and suncream. The diversion was WW2 lookout station.
