My highlight of the tour today was: on the old Roman road over the Fernpass. In the southern direction, however, it is much easier to ride, as the Römer-Trail goes downhill. The Haiterwanger See then invited for a refreshment at the end of the day, the campsite 🏕️ right on the lake.

Along the Großache river to Kössen and then through the forest past Walchsee to Ebbs, clearly the most beautiful section of today's tour. Then, in the scorching 🚴♀️ heat, we went upstream along the Inn to the campsite 🏕️, luckily with a pool to cool off.

Stage 2 first went along the Tauernradweg, and was again accompanied by lots of beautiful mountain panorama, including Hohe Tauern. ⛰️⛰️⛰️ The bus shuttle worked perfectly. 🚌 Fortunately, it was very shady along the Loferbach uphill through the forest. 🌳 It was another great stage.

This year we're going through Austria 🇦🇹, always with mountain panoramas in view. Today, we took it easy along the Tauernradweg, starting in Krimml. The Krimml Waterfalls were already on the agenda the day before, a real highlight.

Last stage of my tour, very relaxed, the destination was the campsite 🏕️ Via Claudia at the Lechstausee, which is really very nice for swimming. A little rest at the end, before heading home .
