Mein Dank geht hier raus an Komoot:-)

Hello Daniel, on August 26, 2025, I'll be driving the "Berliner Ring" with my brother again, following the same route as on September 17, 2023. 😀

I originally wanted to end the tour back home, but then had to cut it short at the S-Bahn station because an old ankle injury was becoming too much of a problem. It was a shame, but I was also kind of glad. The level of destruction is simply much higher when hiking than when cycling. The fun factor

We actually planned to go camping on this wonderful weekend. Unfortunately, it had to be canceled. Since I was so excited about it—especially the bike ride—I, stubborn as a little boy, just rode there anyway and then straight back again. 😁 The outward journey was planned, and the return journey was

Great, I can "go crazy" without a bike. I'd almost say that cycling is easier on the joints ;-) The tour was generally very nice. I can recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to laze around by the pool. But I wouldn't do it in the height of summer, the tour is not to be underestimated. There's nothing

Before my fitness completely went out the window after my vacation, I wanted to do something really crazy again.
It went really well until lap 40, then my legs got heavy and I wanted to give up.
A gray, cold day like that, it just doesn't motivate you. It's also bad when you could be home in just 15 minutes

Ideal for testing the limits of the bike. As long as you go slowly, you can do a lot ;-)

Early in the morning I went the rest of the way down from the Brenner Pass and then I had the idea not to just get on the train but to drive to Munich first. Since I couldn't take the Achenpass on the way there, I wanted to make up for that later. I also wanted to make a quick detour to the Zillertal
