Not an easy hike, the path is hard to follow, with crossing 2 creeks. Many parts were muddy and there are lots if flies. Following the route makes you walk on private agricultural land.

To arrive at the starting point, which is 'Centro Ecotouristico El Chiconal', one needs to drive over a very poor road. €3 entry fee per person.A guide is mandatory. (€25) the hike is to be done before 9AM. As we arrived after 1300, we could not do the hike that day and stayed in a wooden cabana
