I wouldn’t entirely classify this hike as hard. Maybe the upper section from Gar to Mt Difficult including the hike to the top.
Up until Gar the track has new yellow aluminium markings easily recognisable. It looks like whoever did the new pointers stopped at Gar because there’s almost none after.

Very easy walk. Was very busy with mountain bikers and runners. The end part wasn’t that pretty as you walk just right next to the super busy road.

Excellent hike. The track is mostly very flat so it would be really easy if it wasn’t for the beginning and finish i chose. On my day the road to the starting point was closed due to fallen tree damaging bridge over the creek. I was considering to walk to the starting point but then I looked around and

Lovely walk. I’d rate it totally easy apart from the hike at the beginning. From there it’s just flat or descending with few small upwards sections. For some it could even be boring how flat and straight most of the track is. I did it with person who hates heights so the first hike took us maybe 3 times

It would be lovely easy walk but the middle part spoiled it. Lots of the track is barricaded with massive fallen trees. I’m intermediate hiker. Usually what’s classified as moderate I find easy and few hard tracks I found very moderate. When I saw the rating for this hike as “hard” I thought “meh”. How hard can it be?
Boy was I wrong!
I usually don’t give up and can easily motivate myself to finish what I’ve started

Excellent track. Be prepared for serious climb and descent. Hiking boots mandatory I’d say. Lots of loose rocks. The two river crossings were not so bad. Didn’t really have to take boots off but for individuals who are not confident jumping over wet rocks you might have to take your footwear off. At
