Slow Active Tours is a tour operator specialized in Outdoor activities. We guarantee great care in travel organization, authentic experiences and responsible tourism.
Based in Puglia, we are your perfect DMC in the "heel" of Italy (Matera included). We are able to customize your every request in the most beautiful places in Puglia and also in Matera: walking holidays, bike tours, cultural trips, food and wine experiences, sea activities, tailor-made packages for individuals, groups and families, with a guide or in freedom.
We also rent bikes in Puglia and Basilicata and with our vehicles we can ensure delivery, collection and constant assistance. You can choose between comfortable trekking bikes, high performance Gravel bikes and Bosch engine e-bikes.
Beyond Puglia, in the rest of Italy, we are specialized in self-guided Walking Holidays. At the moment our walking destinations are: Apulia, Sicily, Amalfi Coast, Cinque Terre and Portofino, Tuscany.
In all our tours we pay great attention to detail, in the choice of our suppliers and in the information material, which we brand with the logo of our partners.
Our best-selling individual tours include a paper roadbook written by us, with route description and detailed maps that are always updated.
In group tours we use our experienced local guides; in self-guided tours we use a simple and intuitive Travel App that includes the description of the program and the tracks of the itineraries divided by days.
Until the COVID-19 EMERGENCY returns, our cancellation policy is really flexible, providing facilitated payments and very favorable cancellation penalties.
