Something different today. We took the bus thru to Inverness along with our bikes. Cycled back to Nairn via the back roads. 22 miles

Cycle along seafront then out back roads to Loch Flemington, return by Ardersier back road and seafront

Outbound was quite windy but on return from loch Flemington the wind was on our backs so quite pleasant in the sun. 18 miles

Nairn, Geddes, Piperhill, Kirkton of Barevan, Achindoune, Cawdor, Nairn

We managed an 18 mile cycle before the incoming storm that is forecast for later in the day. It was a hard 18 miles as we had nearly 300 meters of ascent. Dry, light winds. The calm before the storm!!!
