The path along the sea is extremely industrial and therefore not very scenic. Still, it's interesting. Hooksiel itself is incredibly idyllic, and the path from the sea across the inland waterway is particularly recommended. We really enjoyed the route back to Wilhelmshaven over land and found it a more pleasant option.
