The Ljubljana Zoo is really nicely laid out. Rather a huge playground with animals. Very spacious - some animals would wish for larger enclosures.
The castle is easy to reach thanks to the cable car and offers a very good view of the Alps and the city.
The city of Ljubljana itself is wonderfully spacious

The cave castle has many steep and narrow stairs, you should be careful here. You should definitely do without a stroller etc.!
Tickets for the castle are only available in combination with tickets for the Postojna Cave!
The caves are highly recommended - however, the price of the tickets is quite high
