Beautiful, long, demanding hike. The ascent in the Traufbachtal over the Bettlerrücken leads across meadows. On wet ground this seems difficult/dangerous. With two long breaks at the Matrashaus and the Mitterfeldalm, we were on the road from 6 a.m. to around 6 p.m. Consider wearing a helmet to protect yourself from falling rocks on the way to the Devil's Holes.
