Immerwieder schön das nostalgische Hotel zu besuchen. Da nur wenig Schnee lag habe ich eine Abkürzung unterhalb vom Hotel probiert. Steil und schwierig und bei mehr Schnee sicher nicht zu empfehlen. Thomas Mann weg war gut präpariert aber andere Wanderweg im Wald stellenweise tückisch vereist.

Visited the Hōryū Buddhist temple from the 9th century at Nara. Said to be the oldest wooden building complex in the world. Also the statues from the early time are in place and many objects schown in a museum. It is really impressive and fascinating.
