An einem herbstlichen und windigen Wetter diese Tour zu fahren ist vielleicht nicht die beste Idee, dennoch ist diese Tour durchaus empfehlenswert. Nicht geplant war die Abstecher- Fahrt über den Brouwerdamm nach Port Zeelande, mit Rückenwind kein Problem, bei der Rückfahrt dann gegen den Wind. Wir sind dann vom Radweg auf der Dammspitze hinunter ans Meer, wo gerade Flut Hochwasser war. Leider waren an diesem Tag keine Seehunde zu sehen, die sich normalerweise in der Nähe der Schleuse aufhalten. Die Radtour im Windschatten der Dünen war ok, nur sollte man tunlichst auf den wehenden Sand achten, eine starke Boe und man liegt dann auf der Straße. Brouwershaven ist ein Kleinod, nur im Herbst und dann auch noch an einem Montag ist da tote Hose. Die Rückfahrt nach Renesse ging dann permanent gegen den Wind, dank Ebike kein wirkliches Problem. Vorher den Batteriestand checken ist empfehlenswert, wenn Power gegen den Wind gewünscht wird. Im Sommer jedenfalls ist diese Tour absolut empfehlenswert, zumal die Wege für die Radfahrer bestens geplant sind.

We did this tour counterclockwise, keeping an eye on the position of the sun. Highly recommended, as the route from Marialinden to Overath is much more relaxing than the other way around.
