Hike on April 30, 2025. Very challenging with all the snow that was still there. Had to walk through several parts of the snow (sometimes up to the knees in snow).

Driven to hintertux by car. From there we went up by cable car. Then bought a ticket for 13.00 euros for the 2nd cable car up to start a walk from there. That did not go well. There is only a walk down. Walking on the glacier is not possible.
