On day 3 of our "Ruhpolding Tour" we went back to the train station in Mühldorf, where we said goodbye again for a year. The route had a slightly different course than the outward journey and that it went a lot downhill can also be seen in the respective cut.
      Mühldorf-Ruhpolding: 17.0 km / h
      Ruhpolding-Mühldorf: 20.3 km / h
I had the feeling that we drove even more through nature than on the way there.
But no matter in which direction we were traveling, it was always a pleasure!
It is also a pleasure for me to be out and about with this troupe again and again. Now we are looking forward to the next year and hope to be in good health so that we can visit Franconian Switzerland together.

On day 2 of our "Ruhpolding Tour", the (gravel bike) circuit "Ruhpolding-Reit im Winkl-Ruhpolding" was announced. Before breakfast, the weather app only announced rain from 5:00 p.m. At the start we had to find out that the app "got a little" wrong.
In order not to ride with the rain clouds, we rescheduled and made the tour in the opposite direction - and thus towards blue sky.
After just a few kilometers, we were able to experience the difference between a bicycle and a gravel route.
This was much to Sepp's (Guiseppe) chagrin, who found the sometimes quite intense gravel gradients less fun with the narrow tires of his touring bike.
Gerd, with his e-bike, needed our help with the one carrying passage.
The mountain bikers Wolfgang, Horst and I had it easier, but still not easy.
Ergo, a MTB is recommended for a gravel tour!
On the way to Reit im Winkl and thus through the magnificent foothills of the Alps, we passed the beautiful Maria Eck monastery, which was naturally well attended on today's holiday (Maria Himmelfahrt). It is worth mentioning that there is still a Bavaria in Bavaria :-) and with the Weitsee and the Förchensee two real eye-catchers are on the route. All in all:
A wonderful tour that was tough!

It all started in 2002 with a 2-day tour from (my old homeland) Weiden to Munich.Every year since 2003 (with the exception of 2005) we, who came together this year and played football in a team for a few days, have been cycling together for a few days every year.
In the meantime we have visited all administrative districts and also an alpine cross (of a simpler nature) behind us.
The tours can be found clearly in Komoot, if you sort the tours by "Name, ascending" under "Done".
Because I didn't have Komoot at the time, I later recreated the first multi-day tours, which is why they incorrectly appear as one-day.This year our goal was Ruhpolding. We met at the train station in Mühldorf, coming from different directions.I was pleasantly surprised at how well the cycle route network is developed and only occasionally sent us to Ruhpolding with the cars on the asphalt.
Most of the time we were on very good bike paths over fields and forests and along rivers.
Even if it was steadily uphill, it was a pleasure tour!
