This is a short walk from the campsite around a shaded park Foret Ain Chkeg. We stopped at the Foret Cafe for a coffee.

We camped by the lake. This path is harder than it looks, but has great views. Sheep paths with Minimal shade, but plenty of marine fossils on the way. The return leg came down a dry stream to catch a local path.

This short ride is great for a morning ride to explore around the village.

The moderate climb from Camping de la Laume up to Peillon church is great (after the first section on the road). Passing on beyond Peillon you rapidly feel well away from the everyday hustle. After an easy climb to Route du Lac you have a walk along the road and back down some steep paths on returning to the valley.
