Stuart

Retired ex military, 15 years in Spain, keeping fit, by dog walking and now e biking the local trails. New sport for me loving it hoping the tracks I find will be used by others. Bedar is interesting, as it has a mining history, and many of the tracks around are from old railways now disused. Advised not to bike in the heat of the summer especially day time. There are not that many watering holes. There is not much traffic at all even on the metallic roads, but sharp bends can always hold a surprise!
Carry a phone, and first aid kit and always know how to give your position as co-ordinates from either your Garmin or phone. That said the signal strength is patchy.
Being blessed with good weather, the tracks are not wet or muddy, but can be very dangerous, if it’s is pouring down. So check out the weather forecast.
Being 70 years old I’m not into big time hill speed stuff, but use the e bike to access tracks which you otherwise wouldn’t be able to go down even in a 4x4, taking photos of the landscape especially in the morning is special the autumn being the best time.
Enjoy your time be safe, and love your life it only comes once.
Stuart.
