The climb is very steep and the grass/ferns are sometimes very slippery with morning dew or after rain. You have to climb a bit at times, so it's definitely not "easy" as the description says, but it's worth it. The view of Blea Tarn and Langdale is great.

Beautiful tour, but from Stickle Tarn Lake onwards the path is often no longer recognizable as it is overgrown with ferns or marshland. We also got lost several times and ended up going cross-country through fern fields and along the stream until we came across a recognizable path again.
