A few years ago, a gravel bike stared at me online. It said, “It’s time for you to get out for a ride.” So that’s what I did — I went out and bought one. Ever since, I’ve been hooked. I try to use every free moment I can to get in the saddle and get moving. Sometimes it’s a short ride, sometimes it’s long, but either way, I’m out exploring.

I don’t do it to race, to collect awards, or to feed my ego. I do it for myself — for the adventure, for the time out. Often I ride alone, sometimes with others.

I’ve had some setbacks over the last few years. Tough ones. Some hard to cope with. It’s true: biking helps me escape, recover, reflect, and discover — not only my surroundings (which I truly enjoy) but also what’s going on in my mind. It neutralizes thoughts, clears them, and fuels the good vibes. Is it a drug? Maybe.

Below, you’ll find my little and long adventures. If you want to join me or get in touch, please do. I’m always happy to meet and travel with new people. Thanks for reading.

25.04.26 My 105 this year. Could have been better, but it could have been worse, considering I am still in healing process after my operation.

A really lovely tour to 4 lakes around Bern. Murtensee, Neuenburgersee, Bielersee and Wohlensee.

17.04.26 Part 2 - Yverdon -> Nyon with Madame. Some detours, wrong turns and pleasant surprises. It was fun and relaxing.

Obviously something went wrong with the elevation tracking on my device. Kilometers and time are correct. We didnt have 1300 meters of elevation of any kind though. Must check my gadget.
