Wimpole Estate Walk
Walk on the mainly gravel tracks around the Wimpole Estate. Refreshments and toilets available at the cafes in the main buildings at Wimpole. Walked with our dog, keeping on the lead around the sheep but plenty of areas where he could be off the lead through the woods and on the other tracks.

St Ives to Houghton Mill
Lovely walk with our dog starting from St Ives, through the Hemmingfords and return via Houghton Mill. Lovely views of St Ives plus sections along the River Ouse and some lovely houses in the Hemmingfords. Plenty of pubs and cafes en route for refreshments.

Gorgeous walk along the banks of the River Nene around Oundle. Good dog walk with some nice views. Plenty of cafes in Oundle plus the cafe in Barnwell Country Park at the start and end of the walk. Paths all well signposted.

Ride to Ashwell for a baguette and latte at Days Bakery in Ashwell. A bit further down the road are some bike racks with a bench next to them to have the sandwiches and cakes!

Ride on trails around Bourn, East Hatley, Top Farm Airfield, through the medieval village of Clopton, Wimpole Hall (National Trust) and Caldecote. Some excellent views of Cambridgeshire from the hills at Wimpole. Mainly off-road, but some longer sections of road riding on quite stretches of roads between trails.
