We modified this tour a bit and instead of the long route on the main road from Petersberg down towards Königswinter, we walked through the woods and past the Drachenburg back to the starting point.
Nature is simply more beautiful than a federal road :-)

Very nice tour through the nature of the Bergisches Land. Simply follow the signs to the D5 at the starting point for the hiking car park and, after about halfway through the tour, follow the signs to the D6.
