This walk starts and ends at Ancarraig Lodges, which offers a playpark and ice cream to little hillwalkers. A late afternoon tour up to Meall Fuar-Mhonaidh turned into a lovely and golden evening. The climb is along a varied route with some steep ascent, but the full view of Loch Ness and glimpes of

A gentle stroll through beautiful Glen Lichd ("Lichg"). The summer heat slowed us down somewhat, but bless the stream and the chance to cool our hot feet. The BMC bothy marked a natural end point to turn back and enjoy some well-earned ice cream🍦

A truly epic day in the hills. 1,800m ascent over 30km very nearly brought me to my knees. 7 Munros bagged in a day of strenuous walking. The overwhelming beauty of the hills, coupled with stunning views as far as the Atlantic, make this a day never to be forgotten 😍

A fun afternoon hike to a little known hill outside Aberfoyle. The path rises gently through a forest before opening up to offer stunning views of the Arrochar alps. Don't stop at the phone mast, climb the fence to get to the true summit.

A grey and blustery morning turned absolutely glorious as we took our chance on the hill. The steep climb up Beinn Dubh is rewarded with stunning views of Loch Lomond and its hills. The return to Luss via the road actually makes for a very enjoyable ramble.

One of the easier Munros, but dont let Schiehallion fool you. The rubble and scree adorning the top make this one a challenge for the ankles. Lovely summit to rest at, as there is plenty of shelter between the crags.

Never let a spot pf bad weather keep you home. After dallying a wee bit at the hydro dam, it was a swift walk up towarts Garry bridge, where we watched some rafters. The return was via an enchanted woodland path with quite a few steep ascends. Back in Pitlochry just before the car park closed.

This long and lovely walk took us from the urban delights of Milngavie and Bearsden into the wild and wonderful world of the Kelvin walkway. Spring time was in the air, as we followed the weave of the river to the Tickled Trout, a highly recommended restaurant. The path then joins the Allander Walkway

First two Munros of 2022 🤩 a sunny day at the bottom, but both summits were shrouded in cloud. Legs aching and self-doubt whispering after a long winter away from the hills. But we made it. Munro season is officially open!

Stunning and strenuous hike on a cold and blustery day. Knee-deep in snow, sliding down the hillside on our bums. Frozen hands and frozen lands. Tiresome and awesome in equal measure.

A wee ramble on a sunny winter day. Paths quite boggy, but the nature and the stunning views more than made up for the struggle. Do climb the stairs to the aqueduct, it’s worth it!

Probably one of the loveliest climbs in Glencoe. These two Munros are easily tackled from a bealach. The climb is steep but short. Stobh Dubh lies behind a false summit and requires some stamina, but Stobh Coire Raineach is reached after just 25 minutes of climbing.
