If you're sharp (and lucky) you might spot some deer today. At least you will spot eagles and vultures. Besides touring motorcycles, in the first part you have the road to yourself. It's amazing. The second part passes more villages and bigger roads and is mostly downhill.

For an extra enjoyable ride, sometimes skip the given gravel path and take the normal road. You still won't find any traffic, the views are just as beautiful and the ride smoother. If you're up for it than you can ofcourse take the gravel shortcuts. Its a relatively easy ride along copies of Spanish

First 20km of the trip go straight through the forest. Its a muddy track that is sometimes a bit difficult to spot. If bikepacking it can be challenging with heavy bagage. However, it is beautifull and you're most likely to spot deer. After leaving the forest you join the main road in

Lovely ride out of Cuenca and into the Iberian mountains. First part is flat and largely on a fine maintained bicyle lane. The second part is a gravel path where you won't encounter cars, but do have to stay sharp for holes, bumps and stones. The ride is beautiful along the river. Final part is uphill
