Today started rainy again. But I decided to push through it so I left around 10 and started my second to last day of this cycling trip.
It's a challenge on its own to cycle through 2h of solid rain. Being passed by trucks and cars adds more excitement. Let's try to stay positive :)

Today's stretch was quite fast yet this part of the trip is a little less scenic. Following the state road is quite boring and sometimes a little dangerous as some cars like sketchy take overs.
Then, as it had to be part of this trip, I had a flat tire. Fortunately, I found the hole in the tube fast

After enjoying the remote village of Nervei for so long, it was hard to start moving again. The weather did not help either as it's 5 degrees, raining and foggy. Fortunately, there was a nice room waiting for me in Vuotso.

I had the pleasure of drying all my things in my room. I slept like a baby and the previous nights without sleep have made me realise how tired I was.
I started very late, around 13:00, with rain and fog. The climb up to the plateau was challenging but not as steep as the one to Nordkapp.

Being woken up by the sun felt really nice after those rainy days. However, it didn't last long until the next rainfall. So I entered Rovaniemi in the rain.
A hearty lunch at Arktikum felt so good!
Unfortunately, this was the last day of riding my bike for this trip. I'm taking the train back to Helsinki
