Paul do Mar - brutal, aber man wird belohnt

Vereda de Funduras
Nach ein wenig Startschwierigkeiten und einer aufregenden Fahrt durch die oft steile und enge Landschaft Madeiras haben wir endlich einen Parkplatz und Einstieg gefunden. Das Wetter hier oben war etwas diesig, hat dem Charme der Levada-Wanderung aber nicht geschadet.

Today we went to the southwest of the island. A very strenuous descent to the port of Paul de Mar, which is really worth it. Once at the bottom, you are rewarded with a great view just before the picturesque town. For us, there was an ice cream for refreshment and then we went back up... brutal.
