Decided to add Snowdon onto the planned hike today and it turned out to be the wrong decision. It was just too much in the end and I was flagging going up the final mountains. Over all a good walk with great views when the cloud cleared.

Parked up at the Rhyd Ddu car park, £6 for the whole day. Nice straight forward walk upto Mynydd Mawr, I decided to do the loop and come down towards the north end of Llyn Cwellyn, I would not advise this route in very wet conditions, the path down follows a stream that on this day was flowing with lots

Lovely walk up to the Coedty reservoir from Dolgarrog, the weather was not great and the hike up to the top was sheltered from the rain through the trees. From the top, its mostly flat all the way to the reservoir and you could continue this walk to where the reservoir burst in the 1920's but as the

Parked up at the top of the Crimea pass, straight forward easy to follow walk upto Allt Fawr with great views of the Moelwyns and Blaenau, from here is was again easy to follow across the remaining mountains. The route back down through the boggy marsh area was not great and there was a number of times
