Great little walk. Decent amount of parking near Wythop Mill (follow the signs for Wythop Hall) then just follow the path around the base of then up onto the fell top. Nice easy walk. We meet an 80 year old lady on the top, who had open heart surgery 5 months ago. Very inspiring 👍

Great weather for this one. A tad warm on the lower slopes, bit cooler higher up. This was our first time out for a few months and turned into a bit of war of attrition as we reached Heron Pike. The descent from there via Nab Scar was tough on very sore feet. Although that descent was mostly forgotten

Very warm in the valleys and a strong cold wind on the tops. Stopped for a pint at the Haybarn Inn which was conveniently right at the end of the descent path 👍
Really pleasant walk, with very little difficulty and decent views.
