Last diving day in Indonesia, and almost a perfect shark shot... the camera would not focus! Oh well. That's back tip sharks. There was a small black manta ray at the end as a compensation but I did not manage to get a good position of the photo.

No shark today, that I remember of anyhow. Maybe that explains why my air consumption is getting better. A bit.
The local specimens are typically blacktip sharks, and can grow to about the size of an adult man. Unprovoked attack with divers are very rare, which is a good thing because swimming past one

I Was Told There Would Be Sharks. There was! I did manage to get some half-decent shots, but I did miss the last one, as I had turned off my camera for the last two minutes of the dive, and it was close, very close, with facing the blue as a background… That would have been a gorgeous shot. Darn!

Another Mountainbiking tour, this one with some proper trails with roots, drops, jumps and dirt. Also, in the program, some nasty stingy plants… I could not tell you the name, but I sure know how they look like: a darker green leaf badly textured that looks like it will sting you, and it does! This is called Canyoning. In this case, that consted of:
• Rappeling down a waterfal or rock wall 12 times and as high of 40m
• Use natural rock formations as water slides 🛝
• Clif jumping 9 times as heigh as 12 meters (for references , those crazy high heigh platforms they use for Olympic diving are 10

I rented a mountain bike and took a tour with Infinity Mountainbiking. It feels like a luxury too get a vehicle to pick us up all the way up the mountain and only have to get down.
The itinerary is a mix of single track, gravel and paved road. It’s a great opportunity to see some area normally unseen

Easy ride down, this side of the mountain is more gently graded, which is good in regard brake reliability! Smooth highway and fast flowing until the main town, which is most of the southern island. Traffic is denser here then on Java.
Again, Bali is beautiful and has character with its many Hindu ornements
