You can avoid the mountain bike section on Gasselstrasse after the intersection if you don't turn left into the forest, but follow Gasselstrasse to junction 62 and then turn left at Buschkampstrasse and then follow the route again.
The next section to Lippstädter Strasse also leads along field paths. But it's easy to ride.
