We wanted to get from the Schlei to Hamburg quickly and directly. The route goes along the federal roads and could be good if it weren't for the incredibly nasty bumps on the bike paths! Our outward stretch was longer but much more beautiful with great scenic highlights.

It was a sh... day, 34 degrees and not possible to find a campsite on the Iron Curtain Trail or Green Belt in the direction of travel. A pity. That's why we drove in circles today... the possibility of getting water or food is really bad. We therefore cancel the tour and look for an alternative route north.
