We made our little detour via Persenbeug and Marbach because we wanted to use the ferry. It paid off, it was a nice change.

Overnight stay Amstetten:
Pension Leichtfried. Nice, clean, breakfast can be booked additionally.
As the main square is very close, we went to Cafe Exel.
Food:
Lunch - Theatercafe / Waidhofen an der Ybbs. Rather by chance, but a stroke of luck. Inexpensive lunch buffet, very nice waitresses.
