This route includes two short sharp sections where you will need to push your bike. The first up to Donich Falls where you will be rewarded with a fun, fast rocky descent back toward the village. An excellent cycle around Kerrera. Gylen Castle is worth a visit alone, great views over to Mull, Lismore and back to Oban.
You could extend the cycle to the north of the island along a newly built road doing a full circuit of the island
A good tarmac road to Glen Shira Dam and then a solid farm track runs the length of Lochan Shira. Fabulous scenery, impressive engineering and a fun descent on the return journey.
A really good ride out incorporating some fantastic views and great tracks around Lochgoilhead.
Great Loop as always, started to feel it on the climb to Corran Lochan. Stopped to do a bit of track maintenance on the Dukes Path descent into Lochgoilhead hence the increased time

A good way to access the lower descent of The Dukes Path if you don't mind a steep 10 minute push up to The Two Gates
A good circular route in either direction, mostly on forestry road so would be suitable for a gravel bike. Great views of Loch Goil and the surrounding hills.
