Wanderfreunde Weisel

Important notice regarding our signage!

When we opened our hiking trails in July 2022, we signposted all routes without gaps in both directions for you (an exception are the two Schiefer circular trails in the Dörscheider Wald).

Unfortunately, there has been repeated vandalism since then: signs are damaged

Our neighboring municipality of Bornich has also expanded its network of hiking trails.

bornich.de/touristik/freizeit/wanderouten The Loreley trails "Look into the World Heritage Site" and "To the Rhine Hell" can be combined, as the latter is only 3.6 km long. This map can be used for planning your hike

This tour is identical to the tour komoot.de/tour/463463610 - but starts at the Adolfseiche. It saves the way from Weisel. The Adolfseiche can be reached by car, you can park your vehicle there.

This route is based on the long Weisel-Loreley circular hike, but after crossing the L338, it does not lead to the Loreley plateau, but instead follows the Loreley Extra Tour back towards Bornich, and from there back to Weisel on the long version.

If you choose the starting point of the tour at the Adolfseiche

This is the version of the long Loreley Loop starting at the Adolfseiche. It eliminates the need to drive from Weisel. The Adolfseiche is accessible by car; you can park your vehicle there, even if there is no "official parking lot."

The starting point of the tour is at the cemetery. If you start from the parking lot at the gym, the "access route" is extended accordingly. From the gym, first follow the signs

If the big Loreley circuit komoot.de/tour/466186524 is too far for you, you can split it up and use another one in addition to the "small circuit" komoot.de/tour/463463610 Day run this tour.

Or you just want to integrate the Loreley Plateau into a hike.

The tour starts at a small parking lot at the transition
