Started from the village of Downham, which has won many awards. The car park is Free. A challenging hike but worth it when you see the views on the way up to the top of Pendle Hill. You literally have your heads in the clouds. On the day we witness the changing weather conditions, misty, rolling clouds, foggy and lovely sunny conditions on the other side. We then finished with a refreshing drink in the friendly pub.
