Began the walk from Jesus Church in Troutbeck where parked on the roadside. Headed back over the bridge & took the footpath on the left leading to the Garburn Pass. At the top of the pass turn left & head up to the summit of Yoke. From there follow the ridge along to Ill Bell,Froswick & Thornthwaite

Begin the route by parking at Ryal Fold and crossing the road into Roddlesworth Woods. Turn immediately right and head down to the Upper Roddlesworth Reservoir. Fabulous trek in sunny snowy conditions - our favourite weather !. Started the walk at Ryal Fold parking by the pub & cafe crossing over the road snd straight into Roddlesworth Woods. Beautifully covered trees in snow & ice enough for us to hike in spikes. Came out of the woods further fownbthe msin

Did this walk on a cold December morning after a very hard frost (-4C). As a result we had clear blue skies, ice encrusted trees and all the muddy pools in Copy Clough on the descent were frozen solid. Lovely walk, but some of the paths would be tricky after rain.

Pretty walk, some of it on minor roads, around Harrock Hill. Park at the Hunters Hill car park. The paths through the Harrock Estate are very muddy in winter and the climb up Bannister Lane is long and steep.
