Ullswater eBikes is a small, independent business run by Steve and Sarah in the heart of Glenridding.
We started with a simple idea: to help people discover this beautiful part of the Lake District without always needing to use a car. An eBike gives you the freedom to explore further, tackle the hills and find some of the quieter places that are so easily missed.
We hire good quality Hardtail and Full Suspension Cube eMTB's, but we like to think what we offer is about much more than simply handing you a bike. We live and work here, we know the roads and trails, and we're always happy to spend time helping you choose a route that suits you. Whether that's a gentle few hours exploring Ullswater or a full day's adventure over the fells, we want you to enjoy the journey rather than worry about how quickly you get around it.
Alongside hire, we sell and maintain both analogue and electric bikes from our workshop in Glenridding, including being a certified Bosch eBike Service and Diagnostics Centre. The same care we give customers' bikes goes into looking after our hire fleet.
We're fortunate to live in an extraordinary part of the world and we don't take that for granted. We simply want to help people explore it responsibly, safely and with a smile on their face.
If you return at the end of the day with muddy legs, a few stories and some great memories, we've done our job.
