We have been living in this area for almost 30 years and have never been to the Wahner Heide. We should have done that much earlier - a really beautiful piece of nature. However, some of the paths are so sandy and deep that they are only partially suitable for a Dutch bike. Simply great with a trekking bike or MTB!
