Lovely walk across the fields to Amblers Mill/Westerton road, a great one for dogs as there's no stiles. Great views over Ardsley Reservoir and beyond. I've added a number of local walks, this one is the shortest.
We went wrong on one section and didn't follow the footpath (on the field by the water tower), check the map here as the field hasn't got an obvious footpath on it. It's not well maintained and the stiles are quite rickety - due to the stiles this is not a good walk for large dogs. I have to lift my
Parking in a large lay-by, enough room for 10+ cars. From there there's direct access to the woods (start of the walk) and a rather flat walk throughout. No stiles so suitable for large dogs.
Nice loop but does not go up to the house or gardens, next time we would incorporate those as it was a shame not to see them. We weren't sure if you had to pay to access those areas though.
