Interesting route with great views but I struggled on parts of the track along the Loire which were grass, rutted mud or cobbles so not suitable for a road bike with slicks. Fine for a gravel bike or hardtail

Excellent walk with great views of cascade. Walk back along clifftop is breathtaking and visit to the Chateau d'Anglais and waterfall viewpoint are well worth the small detours.
