We did this as a station to station ride. The route uses a lot of shared towpaths, so is only for gentle leisure riding, perhaps on a midweek rather than weekend ride. We absolutely loved it though as a really relaxed and flat ride, that you could just unplug and enjoy the scenery. As commented by other
