An easy flat coastal oath along an area clearly being developed from banana plantations to leisure use. There's a small beach bar (Areia ) at the end of the path and a small black sand beach sheltered from the biggest of the waves.

Better to avoid the road by backtracking along the River to signpost for the road, crossing and then continuing alongside field to the wood as here.
