Salinas de Cabo de Gata – circular from Torre de San Miguel
First 2k beside the road and farms was grim. Acres of plastic, the second half was better.

If waking, i would avoid this circular trail and do an out and back on the seafront. On a bicycle it would be fine. The start is beside a busy road and then by polly tunnels with a stench of animal feed, lots of sandflies too. This was our least favourite walk in Cabo del Gato.

Gravel ride lunch at Corrour station
Enjoyable gravel ride for a tasty lunch at Corrour station. Weather was kind and my tubeless set up survived a sidewall puncture with a fluid top up and blast of air. Good to see lots of bike packers in mid September.

Nice trail, hard to follow in first km and last km without komoot assisrance. The inland valleys are beautiful, we walked in February on a sunny day with a cool breeze that became a gale force wind at the top. The concrete road descending from the top was welcome due to the buffeting wind. Great views
