About Nowherefast
I’m into cycle touring, gravel riding, bad technique mountain biking, bike packing, occasional sportives and triathlons. Mostly cycling in Scotland where I live, or in Ireland where I’m from. I often holiday in Europe where I seek out high mountain passes. Longest cycle - Catania to Bergen in 43 days, most memorable Granfondo La Stelvio (6 months after cancer treatment).

Gravel ride lunch at Corrour station

Enjoyable gravel ride for a tasty lunch at Corrour station. Weather was kind and my tubeless set up survived a sidewall puncture with a fluid top up and blast of air. Good to see lots of bike packers in mid September.

Good fun on the ladders, we started at 10am and avoided the crowds.

Our red trail ascent of the second peak, was steep and only managable due to walking poles for balance on sandy path. The blue route would be much better although a little longer.
