A really varied tour, constantly changing landscapes, nice little towns in between, everything is blooming and thriving, great views and interesting buildings, what more could you want?
In the end we had to hurry to catch the train for the return trip to Alzey, so this time no impressions from Worms, but Worms has a lot to offer. Better to leave earlier next time ;-)

Pure cycling weather and a successful route, what more could you want? The: aqualon circuit has a number of points of reference / explanation along the way, recognizable by dark blue signs / boards. Here you can experience a lot and learn a lot.
You should take your time anyway, because even if the climbs are only moderate, the lap has a total of> 1000hm in it.
Tip: Be sure to stop at Cafe Wild, choose a piece of cake and / or cake and enjoy it with one of the single-origin coffees (actually black but the CostaRica, if necessary, as a cappu / white coffee). I haven't seen such a selection for a long time and what we had was just delicious!

The water quintet actually includes the Bruchertalsperre and the Lingesee, but with the approach from Wipperfeld it would have been too long for us, so only a water trio today.
The absolute highlight was the almost mirror-smooth Wuppertalsperre, which was filled to the brim, so great reflections of the bank vegetation in the water could be seen. I hope this special atmosphere comes across in the pictures.

Nice tour through the upper Sengbachtal, then over many small side streets and villages in an endless ups and downs to Leichlingen, to finally cruise 13km along the Wupper until the steep ascent to Schloss Burg makes you sweat again.

Fantastic cycling weather (sun and 19 degrees) and a nice relaxed tour through the Rheingau and Rheinhessen. You can have almost everything here, slight inclines, fast descents, neat little towns, river bike paths, sand, gravel, asphalt, very varied. Nice opportunities to rest and stop by everywhere, that of course attracts a lot of people. If it has rained you should prefer the asphalted Rhine Cycle Path in Rheinhessen (just follow the signs), the same applies on weekends due to frequent use in good weather.
P.S .: The journey time shown here is obviously wrong.

Today a variation of the Lumda-Wieseck cycle tour.
The absolute highlight were the cloud formations -> awesome!
For the unpaved sections on the Lahn and Lumda it should be dry for two or three days, otherwise it is better to choose the signposted routes.
If you drive the round in the direction shown here, after 80% of the route, the ice cream parlor in Reiskirchen offers itself as a reward stop with nice seating directly on the Wieseck.

Today a tour in the Bergisches Land. It starts with a part of the road and then quickly becomes quieter, in the Wahner Heide anyway, on the Agger-Sülz-Weg the autobahn is always acoustically present, there is silence in the Naafbachtal. The condition of the path is good, after rainy days the Agger-Sülz-Weg and the Naafbachtal can be quite muddy in places, today it was possible.
A nice varied tour with a few attractions on the way. We met many families with children, especially around the Gammersbacher Mühle, of course.

A wonderful route, a lot of asphalt and mostly away from the busy streets, but very varied and always with great new views, many nice resting places and regularly a piece of art, interesting buildings or hands-on attractions.
It was so invigorating to cycle through colorful landscapes in sunny weather. Finally an upright spruce forest again! Everything is sprouting and the fresh, bright yellow-green of the deciduous trees is just as mood-enhancing as the huge areas of flowering dandelion meadows.

Unfortunately, the Eder cycle path has been badly affected and at the moment it is more of a mud and vibrating route for MTBers than a pleasure for touring cyclists. Two touring cyclists promptly turned around and preferred the company of cars to the nature experience.
We have also shortened the planned route and are back to the starting point in an arc via Benfe.
      It was nice anyway.

      Today a procurement tour!
Bratwurst from m.M.n. currently the most creative bratwurst maker in Siegerland, butcher Rönnecke metzgerei-gert-roennecke-kreuztal.de. From classic to cheese, wild garlic to cheese apricot or broccoli ham. Always something new, but every time - very tasty, provided the taste is basically what you're looking for.
The tour itself is also worthwhile, especially if you want to avoid the sometimes heavily furrowed forest paths but still don't want to be constantly circled by cars.
