Staufen-Wittnau-Freiburg-Ehrenstetten-Staufen

The GO1 is really well signposted, but as always, it's recommended to have the route on your GPS, as you'll naturally encounter overgrown signs from time to time.
The tour isn't technically demanding; it features many classic forest paths, a few singletrack trails, and a blue trail with a few berms and

Today we climbed Monte Velo, a typical Lake Garda climb with 850 meters of elevation gain in one go, spread over about 9km, averaging 9.x% gradient. There are a few tough sections. The descent is fairly easy for Lake Garda conditions, with some rocky sections and steep but manageable challenges. I'd

Today, landscape, the full program. An amazing tour!
The start of the tour, roaring with cars and motorcycles, is completely forgotten just a few minutes later. What a gorge, carved out by the Sarca River, narrow, steep, and at the same time deep, like rarely seen. Then it continues, with repeated tough

Today is a day to catch your breath. A nice, relaxed bike ride around Landau. We'll pass through a few charming towns and enjoy a few climbs and descents—all in all, quite varied for a tour that's almost entirely on asphalt.

A tour with many trails, some narrow and on slopes, with five or six sections that require more experience and technical riding. The entire tour was supposed to be 9, but we shortened it because so many trails also require mental stamina. That, too, takes training. There are some beautiful views of the

A completely unsuccessful tour. The journey from the hotel to the tour was poorly planned, and we got terribly lost later on. We didn't turn around and struggled through a disastrous path, barely navigable even on foot. All I can say is: turn back early if you get lost somewhere; it usually only gets

First ride in the Palatinate Forest. Quite challenging at times, but the level of technical skill (3 out of 6) already says that. You ride a lot in the shade of trees, which is quite pleasant at 24°C 🙂
The surface feels slightly sandy but generally grippy. A good introduction to mountain biking in the

Today we'll finish the tour by tasting and buying some wine 🍷🥂
Then we'll head to Cafe Etoile in Breisach and along the Rhine, and back through the meadows.
Note: You should only ride the singletrack if you can stand being yelled at by hikers and don't mind climbing over several trees.
Otherwise, it's a very pleasant short tour.

A challenging trekking tour, off-road tires recommended, or an easy mountain bike tour partly on the Kaiserstuhl Cycle Path and partly cross-country. Stop at Cafe Mathilde in the hinterland of Endingen for hearty tapas and tarte flambée, as well as delicious cakes for those with a sweet tooth like me

A beautiful circular tour, more gravel than mountain biking, with a few narrow sections and mostly wide gravel forest paths. A tour to enjoy the forest, unpretentious but still strenuous. A few beautiful views and rest areas along the way, but there's no restaurant directly along the route, so bring food and drink.
